When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: Anemone Club!

Beautiful blue carpet Frankie! I will have one in a few months - can't wait and neither can my clowns. They keep trying to host the candy cane and were even eyeing my new scoly. Back! Back! You silly clowns!

Re: Anemone Club!

Thank you Doni and Vicki!
The carpet is doing well so far. It is attached to the rock and i was able to feed it yesterday. I followed Doni's directions useing vita-chem and soaking a silver sider in it. The stupid clown was pulling it out all the time so i had to put it gently in the mouth of the anemone. It took it in after that.
Am i always going to have to feed it this way?

Re: Anemone Club!

Bad news. My female akindynos clown just tore into my male clown damaging his eye. I am not to sure how bad yet. I am trying to capture him. Not easy to do in a reef. She has become very aggressive protecting her new anemone.

Re: Anemone Club!

Thanks doc.
MY daughter thinks i should pull the female instead of the male until he heals. Anyone have some thoughts on this? It will give the male a chance to heal in an environment thats comfortable and get a chance to get established in the anemone.

Re: Anemone Club!

OH MAN! That is the best anemone I've ever seen!
A blue carpet. Sweet! Keep us updated on that one. I wonder if that is it's final color or the white parts will go blue over time?
I now know what I'm getting when one day (sigh) I get a 100+ tank. AFter the car is paid off.

Re: Anemone Club!

I don't know if y'all let rockers into the club but I will apply anyway.

Here's my rock flower, she loves fresh shrimp, frozen krill, brine shrimp, cyclopeeze, pellets, flakes, really anything that lands on her...

Re: Anemone Club!

Mark, I think that qualifies! I have one too. It's green, yellow and white. A stunning creature.
