Re: Anemone Club!

How about if I love it and feed it and name it George.
Naming it George is easier than hugging an anemone IMO.
I promise I will get a better pic but here is something.

Re: Anemone Club!

I guess it is time to come out. I now have a neon green carpet anemone, a bali RBTA, a regular RBTA, and a GBTA. I bought them a few friends (sexy shrimp, anemone crabs) too. My skunk clown is doing well and hangs out in the right side of the tank. My Clarkii, poor thing was sucked into the cleaning tube. He is still alive, but oh my. He has decided to live underground with the Yashia, but I find him from time to time in the Bali RBTA (which is very small) and my green carpet. Will get some updated pics this weekend.

Re: Anemone Club!

I have sold my haddoni carpet, my B/W clowns doesn't show any interests. I bought a corkscrew (LTA) anemone and after two days, the female B/W clown is on it.

Re: Anemone Club!

Well the club might as well help me pick out my contest photo too! So far 5, 11 and 13 are in the lead.

Clown Photocontest Choices - PhotoShow Circle

Hope all is well with your anemones today!

While I'm here, I have some questions about what to do with my flow. I have a Remora pro Skimmer (Mag pump) in the corner, a Aquaclear 70 HOB filter (just have carbon in it) next to it, and a MJ600 in the opposite corner of the tank. The HOB stuff comes down right on top of the rocks and I think as a result all my anemones seem to hide more than they would otherwise. The Bali and carpet have chosen that side of the tank. The tank is only a 50 gallon and is quite narrow so can't move the rocks away from this. I think the MJ600 is a bit underpowered for the other corner too. I have a spare Kent Marine Reactor I could put the carbon in and get rid of the Aquaclear HOB, but maybe you will have a better way to set this up. I'm open to purchase a new pump, but want to stay away from a sump with this tank.

Re: Anemone Club!

i think you are fine. The anemones will move where ever they want in the tank, so if they want more or less flow they will move to that spot!
