| A Pneumothorax is cause by blunt trauma to the chest. Placing a chest tube and pulling out air is the right thing to do. I'm happy he's breathing better.
Is he alert or unconscious? If he is alert, does he respond to you?
Just that fact that he is still alive at this point tells me that there is no severe internal bleeding which is good.
