I went ahead this morning and purchased a SEIO 1500!
I'm looking forward to seeing the flow that I get out of that. I'm not sure if I'm going to add another 1500 down the road, or just purchase a 1100. If I have two 1500s running in my tank, that would be about 40x and with one 1500 and one 1100 that is about 35x turnover plus whatever is supplied by my Mag 7 return pump. So either route I'll have plenty of flow.
Well my first week of work is almost over. It's been really a great experience so far, and I've learned quite a bit. I handled rats for the first time, and come to find out they are quite gentle. Anywyas now I'm just waiting for that first paycheck so I can purchase some Liverock, and Livesand, and get this tank cycling... finally!
After I purchase those things I'm then going to save my money for the lights, and skimmer. And somewhere in between there I'll add my sump. Ahhh, spending money is so much fun.
