| well I'm running the lights today to see what kind of heat I get from them. It does light up the room with them on but they really don't seem to be all that hot. I can put my hand on the hood (warm to the touch) I put my hand on the top of the tank (again warm to the touch) the air is warm under the hood and the ballests are warmer then anything else but not burning up.... well so far so good...
