i have enough PVC running throuout the tank with the spraybars, so i wanted to hide the drawpipe for the soon to be installed Oceansmotions device.
im crazy, i decided to punch through a perfectly good overflow, not once, but twice! i glued in 1 inch strainers and piped it in from the back. it is a tight fit in the over flow so i had to cut off half of the "T" and "L" to get them in. then using several 45*s i snaked it over the top as so not to block the other pipes in event i need to remove them.
right now i am very pleased with the results!

*Disclaimer*
i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~ Quote:
