FWIW,
When I spoke to Barry on the phone, I mentioned that I liked the Maximas alot and wasnt as wild about Croceas. Barry told me that Croceas are hardier in his experiance than Maxima's which wasnt something I was aware of. BArry says he might lose one Cracea to every 4 Maxima's he loses in shipping...

So maybe you should look into a Crocea?

As far as the smaller ones go...you just need to feed them...thats why their more difficult. Mount them to a piece of rock or better yet and old clam shell when you first get it in your tank. Get a bowl of tankwater and dose phytoplankton...put the clam in the bowl and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes. When the water is clear, you've fed the clam.

Lather, rinse, repeat a day or two later.....
