There was a website called mr5000.com or something similar that involved a 5000 gallon DIY reef tank. As I recall, it rotted out the the entire ceiling and floor where it was located ( I think in a basement) causing some SERIOUS repair costs. I am sure it is a consideration of yours, but I would be interested in seeing how you plan on ventilating the area.
