| Well, as far as the algae is concerned are you using RO/DI water.
Algae will grow as a result of excess nutrients. I have had very good luck in FO tank with using phosban or rowa phos and cheaper products like APH Phos zorb to remove excess phosphates and reduce algae if you aren't using ro water. Also make sure you have a good skimmer and change any mechanical filters very often to reduce nitrates.
Those should help reduce algae... |
