Temporary reprieve...

I am currently in the process of moving, and after much debate and rationalization, I have come to the conclusion that I will have to get rid of my livestock. The new townhome just doesn't have the room for my 55 gallon. Certainly a tough decision, as the hobby has helped to maintain my sanity throughout graduate school, but it is undoubtedly the right move for my current situation.

I might downsize in a couple of months, perhaps try my hand at a nano, but will start from scratch. I will also be keeping all equipment, as I certainly plan to set up the tank in the future. Heck, I might even consider a BB tank, but when this will occur, well, I don't know (I wouldn't call my current life situation the most stable...I don't know where I will be in approx. 6 months to a year).

So, with that being said, there is plenty of coral, liverock, and other livestock available at good prices in Cary, NC. I have given a couple of individuals first dibs, as they are starting up their tank. But, after them, everything is fair game. I just thought I would give my friends (local or otherwise) here at RS a heads up before I offer things up to the masses. At this point, I am not really prepared to ship anything, so you would have to come pick them up. To get an idea of what I have, take a look at my Reef Chronicle thread in my signature.

Thanks to many of you for showing me the light and helping me struggle through the hobby, it has certainly been a good "drug."

Take er easy
