I've read this Article on Giant Clams several times & have been wondering if anybody has tried it on a smaller scale?

I have a separate 32gal tank that acts as a pre-filter tank in my multi tank system! The pre-filter tank also has a custom surface overflow & a corner inlet/baffle so there would be an area about 16” long by 12” wide by 18” deep that I could try putting one large Tridacnid Clam in? What type of lighting would I need for just a small area like that?
