1. Overfeeding, Had a Sun Coral that I was feeding.
2. Way too deep sandbed.
3. Used a Silicate based sand, was very pretty but.....
4. Was using tapwater when first setup tank......
Do I need to say anymore.....
I will say that the tank never had a Nitrate, Nitrite, or Ammonia problem.........I just loaded it full of Phosphates and Silicates...
The tank was very very healthy...except I was always fighting hair algae....would clear up and bam...outbreak... |
