[Edit - nevermind this sentence, didn't see Basille's post, I was talking about something else entirely]. You just can't have a substrate that has to be changed every 6 months develop a mature root/runner/rhyzoid system, even if it comes with the nutrient system. and have been using my own. You are developing your own and it works that way too, just stick with it none of this changing around nonsense. One of the guys from MARSH who would love your club suggested it awhile back because he couldn't find that kind of mud and wanted to build a seagrass tank.
