| This is kind of the standard so you might have already done it but I really would check your water parameters. If he is eating less and with the color change, I think it might be getting stressed somehow. Even then, if you can't pinpoint anything, do a water change and see what happens.
Personally, I get sort of lazy about testing water params so when things look wrong, I just do a water change and it usually fixes most problems...
