Well I got you. They both add to some section of the nitrogen cycle. But honestly I cant maintain nitrates anyway. Prime would despite being flake provide more seafood than I can find anywhere here, and definitely some types I couldnt get if I were somewhere bigger or closer to an ocean.

I guess i was looking at the benefit of being more well rounded and variety than just level of food. of course, you have to realize, it will be more fresh but only to some degree as it takes fish forever to get here.

I can look in books and on the net all day but I've noticed alot of info just has no bearing. So how do I know what will eat mussels versus shrimp versus squid?
