Here is an updated drawing of the system. I do agree with what you said and have made the changes on my diagram below:
Should I put 'Y' adaptors on the end of all my outputs? Was thinking of doing this with the sump return outlets, but the more I think about it, maybe it would be wise to do this to the CLS outputs too?
