Hey Philip, good to see another familiar face around here...

Selcon might be a bit of an over kill for corals, but if your bioload and wallet can handle it, then I don't think you will neccesarily be hurting anything. However, I don't know if it is neccesary. As for feeding, I am of the opinion that again, it can't hurt and many times may help.
