| My understanding has always been that the Bio-Slab that goen in the sump is 4" thick, and is designed to provide a anerobic zone for denitrification. Does it work as advertised? Don't know. But it seems like it would be similar to putting some very porous live rock in the sump. As long as it is fully submerged, it should work. |
