This is the method I recommend for curing live rock.

Live Rock - Tampa Bay Saltwater Aquacultured Live Rock - The Package Setup

All but part to is applcable,part two is for adding the critters to your tank after the initial cycling with the live rock. The criiters in this case are just the cleaning crew.
