Check out Glass-Holes.com dope aquarium stuff for the overflow. They sell complete kits that you can match to the flow you want. The kit even includes the drill bit. They will also custom make one for you. I like them because they are much thinner than most. Check out the videos on their website.

That looks like a roadmap with all those arrows for flow.......
