I tend to bounce my questions off a number of sources and make my decisions based on what i've gathered/learned. It's just good to have a local shop that you trust to a certain extent in the event that i cant find the answer i need online or though friends. the shop i feel the most comfortable with at the moment has serviced a number of friends reef tanks and has a pretty good rep locally and on line so far (aside from pricing on some items).
I value all the info i can get...
