Unhappy Red hair algae??

Ohhhh I feel like i am asking too many questions.

But, is there such a thing as red hair algae?? I have a few places on my live rock that have some algae that is red (dark) and hair like (flowing in the tide) just showed up a few days ago.

Tank has been running since March, fully cycled in April, stocked in May (wanted to be sure it was ready)
1 Ocellaris clown,
1 wheeler gobie
1 crab (emerald)
3 nassarius snails

temp 78, Ph 8.4, Nitrate 0 Nitrite 5 amon. 0 SG 1.024

12.5 gal eclipse with stock lighting 13watt florecent bulbs.
I want to upgrade the lights, but want to treat the algae 1st

I live in an area where there and no LFS within 150 miles. I am going to Phoenix (120) miles on the 21st so I am going to pick up a turbo snail, certh snail and hermit crab. I am afraid of getting too many cleaners. I had a peppermint shrimp but he died.

I am hoping it is not slime algae, it is not on the bottom, only on a few areas of the rocks.

thanks for your input in advanced
