Not me.
It may be really hard to go after the previous owner. I have a friend who took the panneling off in her new house only to find termites had eaten through everything and they painted on the wall. "Good luck sucker" When they tried to sue the sellers didn't have any money so it didn't get them anywhere.
Hopefully you will have an easier time and can go after the inspector.
