I'm assuming that running a line to the pool is pretty much at the same height as the RO/DI unit? If the waste water needs to be pushed UP away from the RO/DI unit, it costs you about 1.5 PSI per foot in elevation. That's not much but it's just something to be aware of. It could reduce the production of the unit.

If it turns out that it reduces the production too much, you could catch the waste into a barrel, stick a sump pump (cheap one from Lowes) in the barrel, and let it occasionally pump the water out to the pool.
