| Ummm, cichlids .... good or bad parents. Well I kept them until two weeks ago for 8 years and all i can say is they are superb parents until the fry are about 1-2 weeks old and then they will either abandom them to the other fish or eat them themselves .... upto this point, they are excellent parents
