Angels are cichlids, but aren't very good parents, they have a tendency to eat the first half dozen to a dozen spawnings before they actually get there parenting skills down.

I would recommend removing the eggs, without letting them get out of water, and putting them in a 10g tank of their own. I would use an air line and stone under the eggs to keep the water circulating across them and oxygenated. Add methylene blue to the tank till you cannot see your hand on the other side, this will prevent any dead eggs from fungusing and taking all the other eggs with it. Keep the tank at 80-82* and they should hatch in a few days, once they hatch, do small 1/2-1 gallon water changes (matching temp and ph) daily. I agree with using a sponge filter.
