| Well guys, I had to pull the anemone. I woke up in the middle of the night to check it and make sure the tank hadn't crashed. It still looked like it might make it but this morning, it was looking worse. Half of its foot wasn't attatched to the substrate, it was sliming like crazy, and everything in the tank appeared pretty stressed. I knew I wouldn't be home for most of today so I didn't want to risk my whole system crashing.
I think I made the right decision because as I was removing it, I could see that the puncture went through the foot and into the anemone's mouth. Just not a good situation and I am sick at myself for doing it. I guess hindsight is always 20/20 but I hate that the consequences led to a dead anemone...
Thanks again for everyone's advice and I wish I had better news. If anything, I hope at least someone can learn from my mistakes.
