Hello all,
Went to the VA today for my very first visit...met with a buerocrat (sp?) and that just asked stooopid questions. A most unenjoyable visit. Basically the reason I had to go today was because in my award letter they said I haven't been in a long time and they needed to re-evaluate to see if I deserve more money. Could be anywhere from 30-100%...the hundreds a strech and quite honestly if I got that much I would be happy at first but then the realization that guys that have got limbs blown to pieces of TBI's didn't get that much so honestly I'll settle for what I get. Also took my picture for my VA card. Now anyone that has VA benefits could you help me out. Basically unless your a combat vet, you have to be in for 24 months to get medical. I was only in for about 10. But in theory I didn't leave on my own so I could have done the 24, and then some for that matter, I just wasn't suited for duty. Supposdely there's this rule about being in for 24 months and stuff and if your in for less you can only recive treatment for your service connected disability. However it's not like I wanted to leave. I really hate the VA sometimes.

Anyway, WEATHER. Its a cool 61 out the wind is blowing at a pretty decent pace and rain is in the forecast for the rest of the week. I would actually prefer some of your higher temps.
