hey missionsix, i have about $110 into that filter including the new rio 1700 pump for the skimmer.

Boomer i also have a etss reef devil skimmer from my old system. you guys think that that in a 20 gallon long would be a better set up than what i have now? what about a canister filter? i am used to a fresh water system where ya just toss on a canister filter and call it good i guess. the water seems a bit cloudy like its missing some good old carbon filtering. or is this just all part of the "cycle" for salt water.

also yes i would be interested in seeing what you have done with that cpr set up there missionsix, but also keep the info coming guys. i want to learn all i can about this
