The skimmer arrived today.
There was a tense moment when I plugged it in to check the pump... a pause between plugging it in and when it actually started pumping water that seemed to last forever. But it did come on. I unplugged it and replugged it and it fired right up. Appropriate parts are now soaking in some vinegar water for a few days.
Turns out this one is the mini-g with the side mounted pump rather than the one that has the pump under the bubble chamber.
Mods, did I hear someone say they new some mods to make this a KILLER SKIMMER? |
