| Re: OT: Women of RS Thread Laundry has been one of my "jobs" in the house for 20 years. The only time I didn't "get the duty" was when I was working long hours and commuting long distances, and she wasn't working. (Most of our married life she hasn't worked...nor needed to)
The whole "marriage is a partnership" thing is supposed to bring a sharing of the household chores under most circumstances, but if one partner doesn't work (outside the house) then he or she should do the bulk of the household chores while the other partner earns the money for the household....seems pretty simple to me, but so many people don't get it, and fights break out over the stupidest of things.
