My power hwent out today. I found out that my sump WILL overflow. I need to figure out how to correct that problem. Plus I HATE my Little giant return Pump. It is loud and I think that it is making my water hit. My water temp is consistantly at 83. Hell, my 100 gallon is at 82 with Metal Halides. So I know it has to be the Return pump.
WHAT TO DO< AND WHICH PUMP TO USE.
NOT red dragon...I dont what to spent $600.00
Thanks
Oh Yeah, I got ZAPPED While wiping up water. |
I definetly agree on the vinyl tubing. Plus it looks all nasty when the slime and algae start growing inside it. The PVC is much more secure at the joints as well. Plus priming and gluing PVC is fun
As far as pumps, what kind of flow and pressure requirements do you have? Also do you need a submersible or external pump? If you are looking at external, which I highly recommend, you may want to look at the Sequence pump which are super quiet and transfer very little heat to the water. Good price also.
