I've lived in Kahleeforneeya 21 years this July, and have noticably felt 4 quakes; The Loma Prieta quake in 89 that brought down part of the bay bridge and Cypress structure, the 91 Northridge quake that wreaked havoc on northern LA, and 2 smaller ones that were about like driving over a curb in a truck. "BUMP" and it was over. Fortunately, we're not in what's considered Earthquake country, so the only time we really feel one is if someone else has a BAD one...then, it's a bit of bumping and shaking, but that's it...and a bit of residual excitement.
