Congrats on your attention to the small details in your tanks! |
Thanks, in all reality, I give the fish food, fill up the water once a week, clean it once a week, test the water every other week, and the tanks does the rest. The small details are something I like actually doing. I guess that's because I build scale rc airplanes, you need to be able to do small details!

What I think has to do with it is since they were so small I splurged on this water called "Real Ocean Water" by aquatic gardens. Everything is perfect out of the box. I actually tried on the 10 gallon from scratch, but in the end nitrates went sky high and I eventually gave up and started a new. I now use nothing but that in a new aquarium. At $10 for 5 gallons it is a tad bit expensive for large aquariums. But I love it! The cost isn't that much to me since I only use it when I start a new aquarium.
