Host is a noun.
Hosted, Hosts, Hosting are transitive verbs.
To make host in the above sentence a verb it would have to read, "I am hosting a party."
So:
"My clowns are hosting in my anemone."=Verb |
OK, I agree "going" is the verb, but doesn't that make "host" an adverb?
