Thank Jo! Ya know, I've been really lucky. I never had an algae outbreak - no cyano, no hair, nuthin. All I've had is minor diatom on the sand, and the cuc has done a great job with that. I am a big proponant of very clean rock to begin with. I think diversity is great, but only if I add it on purpose. I think I have had so few problems because my rock was so clean to begin with. Even my Marco rock has already started to color up nicely w/o any algae growth. Except for the two sick clowns from LiveAquaria, I couldn't have hoped for a better start.
