| ken, I am a believer in posting in the proper forum. If a thread gets moved to another, more appropriate forum, that's fine by me. However, if you move some that are questionable, move em all.
(not looking to make waves now but this is a galring example of not moving a thread that should be moved).
The goodmorning thread is a daily occurrance in the general section. The time we woke up and the local weather is about as off topic as I can think of and that thread should be in the off topic forum. It isn't, most likely because it is a daily thread and it is one of those things that becomes routine, so you leave it be.
move it to the off topic area, move em all to the right areas and the general section won't be overcrowded with pages of new posts.
I know it's a nightmare for the mods but you know what, you take the good with the bad. you wanted to moderate, and that's part of the job. Look at it this way, it's a pain in the rump but it's a small price to pay for the power bestowed upon you.
