Seems that in a short time this small area of dsb is no longer useful considering the entire system .That's not even considering how much an Angler or some other fish we want but can't keep in the DT will add to the mix. Maybe that small area is better used for rubble or such for pods & leave the dsb out. |
This is a question I have as well. Due to space restraints, all of my equipment has to fit into a 48" cabinet. I have been looking at one of Life Reef's Berlin systems with a small fuge attached. That fuge is/can only be a 12x12x18 (7.5g) in order for it to fit in my cabinet.
My question is it still worth it to have a fuge if its going to be that small? Is running a Berlin system w/fuge as beneficial as just running a big sump with baffles?
