First i just got a super uber skimmer, that im waiting for AQTCJACK to send me.
its a D&D Typhoone
im really stoked.
Right Now im really pushin the limits of bio-load, and i have a minor deitritus issues due to the lack of any sort of filter socks.
soo, im planning on figuring a way to remove the skimmer column from my current skilter, plumb the typhoone into it, and tie a filter sock off in there. then i can stir it all up, then remove the sock.
two birds with one stone if this works like it does in my head.
then ima going to invest in the
MIGHTY MIGHT RO/DI system.
then lights.
this is all directed toward when my lease is up in august. when i move this tank, im going to scrap the tank and use it for a sump for the 30 gal AGA i have sitting in my back yard.
so within the next 6-9 months i want to go from a sumpless 18gallon to
a 30 gal, w/ 250-300 watts MH, a 18 gal sump, etc. good thing is i already have enought LR!
