It was always interesting to observe my friends after they became parents. Some of them...well, I don't know what in the heck they were expecting. One of them wanted a kid so badly and then was more than ready to go back to work after maternity leave was used up. That wasn't what caught my attention, what did was that she said that she could not handle having someone so dependent and crying all of the time. I think I would cry too if that were my mom's attitude. If she was tired of the kid at 6 weeks, I am certain that she is really hurting now. The kid should be about 3 years old by now.
