I have a bubble tip Anemone, he split from one to three Anemones with in 2 weeks of purchasing him. The "bubbles" are more prominent when he hasn't eaten in a couple days. My LFS guy told me they show more when they are hungry. I feed them a little bit of a store bought cocktail shrimp every 2 days or so. . but, I'm no expert. My reef tank is just under a year old and so is my knowledge of it.
