I figured it was always supposed to smell and it would change with the introduction of new foods. When she was pooping meconium, it didn't smell, it was the pee that smelled. I was changing her diaper at a friend's house and commented that I was glad it was just pee and not poop because I wouldn't want to leave something so stinky in her garbage. She said that baby's poop isn't supposed to smell if they're breastfed...You know how they say that when you have kids, you forget about the pain of childbirth, otherwise, why would you have any more?...I think she's experiencing the same thing. She's blocked out how disgusting her son's diapers were.
