I am aware that is the "standard" advice as well Barb. I got one for several reasons. I was trying to appease a dying clown. I thought maybe it would help. Also, I have a large amount of LR and live sand in my tank and sump, and I believe my tank is stable enough to support one. Frankly, I've never really understood what people meant by an "established" tank. My tests are all good, I have great lighting, copious LR, stable pods, good cuc, and I don't intend on adding a lot of fish. Everything has been very stable. I figured 7 weeks was enough, and Mr. Coral agreed. So far, so good.
Unfortunately the bugger did NOT stay where he originally crawled too. He looks great but is in a much less visible location. |
