| Re: Topic of the Month 02/07 - Sorting Good from Bad Advisers I have been in the hobby 12 years{freshwater}New to the reef hobby and I find that the best way to find a good advisor is first do research on your own
using books, magazines, forums like this one and ask alot of questions from many different sources and compare notes. You will find many different methods but also alot of similar methods. In the case of lfs it would be wise to steer clear
of large corporations and stick to smaller shops. Also ask alot of questions start with the easy then ask more advanced.Yeah I know I like to give the pet stores I shop at the third degree. Where I would start is by asking is how long they have been in the hobby. |
