I have just recently been interested in trying to start a reef tank. My parents have always had a freshwater tank in the home, i come from a humble home of 6 kids so my parent neither had the time or money to commit to a saltwater tank, but they love aquariums. Now with my own family, i think my mom has transferred her love for fish to my daughter, and some of my qt with my daughter she wants spent visiting a local aquarium dealer to say "hi" to allt he fishes. We both enjoy it. I wanted to join a first timer friendly forum for many newbie questions.

looking forward to learning from you all and eventually creating an aquarium with my daughter.
