| Re: Sun Coral Feeding Help I have heard of some colonies not opening for days after acclimation. Some open right away. It's not unusual for it to take weeks actually. I don't cage mine simply because of the way the colony is situated in the tank and I can't physically do it. I use a small baster (med doser from the childrens care section at the pharmacy) and mix DT's phyto with some homemade meaty mush and dust the coral then guard it with a plastic spoon for a few minutes while he eats. It's a PITA but it works.
