I was nervous that they knew something I didn't, but every thing went smoothly. I had just paid it off a week earlier too. They told me thanks for being a great customer and please consider them in the future if I ever decided to get another card and that was it!
But that wasn't Capital One. I've never heard anyone invoke the 30 day rule, if that is not in your membership agreement, then you should raise some serious heck when you call back. I wonder if some of the credit card companies are getting nervous with the credit crisis and have instructed their customer "service" reps to keep people locked into their accounts at all costs... |
