Ok, so there seems to be a minor leek in my ro/di unit and they are sending me a replacement part but no big deal. I got to do my first water change with non-tap water today. That felt good.

I got some cardinal fish today too. I read that they are not aggresive and that they may not get a long after they get used to their surroundings but I am hoping 40g will be big enough for them to not get in each others way. Today was also the first day that my shrimp actually came out at feeding time. He "swam" over to a piece of food and ate it even faster than the fish do! I was like holly crap batman!

Here are some acclimation/pics of the new fish. This guy stayed at the bottom like he was sick but as soon as I turned off the light he was out and about. I read that they are nocturnal though...
