You may find a used Remora skimmer or BakPak skimmer that would work much better than the useless seaclone. I've never used any of the above, but the Remora is VERY popular. Keep your eye on the used equipment sections online, people will look to unload these when upgrading to larger tanks. You can get by without a skimmer, but in the long run a quality skimmer will definitely help. A poorly designed skimmer is just money wasted though. |
