A 150 gallon tank is a great size. It gives you enough room to have a great reef. I assume you want a reef tank? The first thing to look at is where to get the tank from. And what you want the dimensions to be. Look at the space you want to put it. I like tanks that are wide and shallow. My current tank is 31" deep, and 24" wide. I had to do that due to space limitations. If you could go with a 30" wide tank that would give you so many aquascaping options.
